Dr. Syed Shahabuddin has more than 25 years of biomedical research and development experience in academia and biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Shahabuddin received his PhD from Manchester University, England in Immunology and postdoctoral training at Southern Illinois University, Springfield and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He has nearly 15 years academic teaching and research experience and 10 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in scientific and management positions. Dr. Shahabuddin has extensive background in airway inflammation research and clinical drug development including technical expertise in cell based assays and immunoassays, CMC, pre-clinical, clinical project management, and management of domestic and global CROs. He has prepared and submitted numerous regulatory documents such as clinical trial synopsis, protocols, Investigator Brochure (IB), IND, NDA/505(b)(2), and BLA for FDA, EMEA, MHRA, and DCGI. Dr. Shahabuddin has several publications in peer reviewed journal.
